As it would turn out, Rome was definitely not built in a day. This little guy alone took me 3 days. I think that about proves it.

I “finished” my first model!  I use this term loosely, of course, because it is still far from being done.  I actually have to redo it and then build another one in 1:20 (this one is in 1:50).  But, I can still in my head say that I finished it haha even though it is unusable!!  But this was all me.  I dedicate this to my Papa!  (Because it would be so easy and practical to build haha).

The back facade.  This project is an urban infill in the Potato Rows (Kartoffelrækkerne) which is a housing development in Copenhagen.  Our project is to fill the space in the end of the rows with an art gallery exhibiting five art pieces.

My concept came out of a mathematical / Buddhist / movement / … blah blah blah haha the idea is that you get taken around the artwork in a very purposeful flowing circularesque movement.

Then the roof moves in the same way with an enclosed sunroom and a rooftop garden.

This is the facade of the roof and the front from above.  Like I said, I have a ton of work still to do (all before Wednesday!!!) but I am proud of the fact that at any rate, I can actually build a model.  It’s a start.
