Velkommen til Louisiana Museum of Modern Art!

This is seriously one of my most favorite museums I have been to in Denmark. It’s a bit of a regional train trek up the coast to Humlebæk, but it is totally worth it. The architecture of the building is amazing, and the museum is huge. Not to mention that the outside is a beautifully landscape sculpture garden that you could probably get lost in for hours.

The pictures above are of one of the coolest rooms I have been in in my entire life. It is a small room with four mirrored walls, a mirrored ceiling, and a pool of water on the ground with a mirrored platform that you can stand on. And hanging down from the ceiling are a ton of lightbulbs and the lights change color. It’s kind of corny, but the place really did feel enchanted.

Marcel and I wandered through every part of the museum, including their main exhibition, Colour in Art, as well as a variety of other things. Including this gross spiderlike creature.

Another exhibit we saw was Homo Sapiens Sapiens, in which a short film was projected via 4 projectors on the ground onto the ceilings and you laid on the most comfortable cushions on the ground and watched. Even though it is sunny, it was extremely windy outside, but that didn’t keep us or a bunch of other people from lounging around and exploring outside.
I just love every part about this museum, and we were there from opening till just about close. If you haven’t seen it yet, do eet.
