So how is the homesickness going??  It is up and down all the time.  I go through a lot of moments where I miss family or friends or maple syrup or cheap beer and clothing… But being here really is like a roller coaster.  While I am making friends, no one really knows my story or knows me even, really.  So in that sense while I am surrounded by people and adventure I also feel extremely isolated.  It becomes this constant back and forth with my emotions.

But, I just need to say, as I am quickly approaching the end of my DIS journey, THANK YOU.  To everyone who reads this blog, takes the time to send me e-mails, letters, monetary supplements, even packages (Mama Logan), THANK YOU.  To everyone who has supported me, THANK YOU.  I would not be where I am without all the people that I have met in my life, even the people that annoyed me or tried to bring me down.  I am who I am and where I am because of every experience in my life thus far, so THANK YOU.
