This is video from the front seat of the Copenhagen (and greater CPH) Metro system.  It is like riding a roller coaster (kinda).

In addition to the awesome bike infrastructure, public transportation is great.  I have been taking the train (s-tog) to and from Gentofte (my town) at least once a day since I’ve gotten here.  Then, for moving around the city faster (and to get right to the airport) there is the metro system.  I’ve also taken the regional train to go to far away places, such as Louisiana Museum, and I’ve taken the bus maybe 3 times.  I just don’t understand buses.  I’m a train girl through-and-though…

But anyway, people are always and forever going to complain about public transportation, but I’m a pretty big fan of Danish PT.  It’s clean, comfortable, safe, usually reliable, and certainly easier than taking a car (but not always easier than a bike!)
